Goals: To be able to skim an article for new vocabulary and general knowledge; to be able to use context clues to figure out the functions of new words.
Opener: No opener sheet. Take an essay and a descriptive outline sheet. SKIM the essay, and annotate it for any words you do not know. If you have time, begin to re-read essay.
