Opener: Take one of each of the handouts in the 10th grade section on the table and put your name on them. Put them together, as a packet, in your binder. Read the front of the “Shakespeare’s Language” handout and the “A Basic Vocabulary” handout. For your opener, complete a free-write using at least five of the Shakespearian words from the “A Basic Vocabulary” handout and at least five of the contractions from the “Shakespeare’s Language” handout.
