Goals: To use close-reading and syntax to decode difficult language; to analyze how unusual syntax and literary devices create layers of meaning in a text.
Opener: Write an explanation of everything that has happened in the play so far, from the perspective of someone IN the world of the play, but not connected to the action (i.e. not a main character). You may choose a character, like Lennox, or make someone up, like the librarian at the castle or a servant.
