Goals: To analyze how authors use different means of persuasion to create arguments and counter-arguments
Opener: You do not need your opener sheet for this. Skim the second article in the packet, and annotate for any non-vocabulary words you don’t know. (If you do not know a vocabulary word because you personally have made the decision not to look it up, I remind you to that they have been assigned for the better part of a week.) At the top of the article, write a few notes of at least five words each making some educated guesses about what you think Zaki’s main arguments might be.
