Goals: a. To analyze how characterization and patterns in the text develop characters b. To use a graphic organizer to sort and analyze major features of a text
Opener: What are some images, patterns, or ideas that seem to be showing up again and again in Macbeth? For example, pigs were an image that showed up many times in Lord of the Flies (Piggy’s name, the pigs they hunted, the pig’s head on a stick, etc.) What are some big ideas that you think might be important in this play?
