Goals: To annotate a text in order to connect figurative language and literary devices to the effects and purpose they have in the text
Opener: Philosophy Phriday! Write about something that gives you hope or strength in dark times. It can be anything — a person, concept, place, etc. However, you must thoroughly explain it with concrete details that place the reader right alongside you. Then, thoroughly explain WHY and HOW it gives you hope.
