Goals: To use annotation and a two-step reading process to find deeper meaning and connections within a text
Opener: Philosophy Phriday! Imagine you wake up tomorrow and everyone around you suddenly has a different name than you remember them having. The evidence of this is everywhere, and irrefutable -- birth certificates, written notes, texts and messages -- all of it indicates that every single person you’ve ever known has a different name than you remember them having. Other than this, everything is normal. What would you do? What assumptions might you make? How would you feel?
