Opener: Go back to your notes on point of view (9/29). Describe the narrator of Their Eyes Were Watching God using the specific vocabulary from these notes. (Is it a limited, objective, or omniscient narrator? Is it primarily told in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd person POV?). After you do that, describe what you can tell about the personality and opinions of the narrator (this is NOT Janie -- it’s not even a character in the book).
